The Azzaro brand was created in the image and likeness of its founder, the Italian-French designer Loris Azzaro. Born in Tunis to parents of Sicilian origin, in 1962 Loris left for Paris, to conquer the world of fashion. Before the end of the Sixties he managed to build an excellent reputation and the Azzaro brand soon expanded its offering to include perfumes.

The first perfume, Azzaro for Women, was launched in 1975. Today, the Azzaro brand has several dozen perfumes under its belt and collaborates with the best perfumers, from Maurice Maurin to Alberto Morillas to Jacques Cavallier. Azzaro perfumes embody a luxurious and modern lifestyle and the art of enjoying life.

Upon Loris Azzaro’s death in 2003, the brand’s direction passed to French designer Vanessa Seward, then to Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejon. Under their leadership, the Azzaro brand has lost none of its dizzying quality or its original style.
